Custom photography or stock images? Does it make a difference to your business?

Hey, guys. How have you been?

My days at home are helping me do some great research on topics I have always been interested in. During my endeavours, one thing that made me reflect deeply was regarding stock images.

Building a trustful business persona

In a world that is constantly connected, it is important, if not essential, to build your professional image with truth. Consumers demand transparency from companies, and companies face the challenge of expressing who they are in the right way. What I found is that many of these businesses use stock image in an attempt to do that. Now, can stock images be helpful? Sure, they can. But what I wonder is – do they really tell your story in a unique way?

I am the kind of person that seeks to find the human side of the corporate world. From my point of view, that is some of what is lost when a company opts to use stock images. And this is also why I see magic in custom photography – it captures the best of your brand in a sophisticated and very personal way.

When making your own shoot you are able to bring out the best of your business. Instead of a general idea, you can show exactly who your team are and how you all work together. I am sure this is one of the prime differences that will make your existing customers - and the ones that would love to get to know your product - choose you. This is one of the things I love about my job – to help businesses express their values through original imagery.

What do you think about that? Please, let me know!

 With love, xxx
